The R&D laboratory, with specialists in various sectors (plant and animal physiology, nutrition, chemistry, bio-processing and microbiology), has its own large database (30 000 plants – 300 000 biological molecules) and uses bio-chemistry/bio-informatics for rapid and targeted development of new actives, and also has a DNA microarray for transcriptomic studies of the whole human genome.
